Abstract This paper focuses on two aspects of feedrate optimization via linear programming methods. Namely, the effect curve sampling time optimality resultant profile and a method adaptation in response to override command. A comparison three distinct approaches (uniform parameter, uniform arc length curvature adaptive) is performed series standard tool path curves. Results show that curvature-adaptive approach leads substantial machining reduction for curves displaying high degree variation. Secondly, by which new can be calculated command developed. The formulates set boundary conditions control point sequence such way resulting guaranteed coincide with currently active up moment command, while minimizing necessary transition newly commanded feedrate.
